Permanent Housing - EUMA's Journey Home program works to keep youth aging out of foster care, out of the homeless system by providing independent and supporting-living apartments, direct and referral services that strengthen housing permanency. EUMA has 15 dedicated apartments split between supportive and independent living programs, the former to include building resident assistants who support youth tenants. EUMA's permanent affordable and supportive housing effort is committed to preserving and maintaining safe and affordable housing in Crawford and Erie Counties. EUMA pairs 16 units of traditional apartments with individuals who have experienced a housing crisis or who are at risk of experiencing a housing crists. All apartments are rented at below fair market value and have utilities included in the rent. EUMA has a "no eviction" commitment believing that eviction is a cause of homelessness, not a symptom. EUMA's goal is to have 0 exits into homelessness.

The Refuge - EUMA welcomes homeless families with children to a 10 room, 36 bed emergency shelter. We welcome all families as they come to us and we remain committed to keeping Dads in the same room as their families. All residents are provided with case management to both help them access permanent housing and address the identified barriers that may prevent them from keeping their permanent housing. EUMA's The Refuge served 122 individuals during the year.
