Women behind the wheel the women behind the wheel program empowers newly arrived refugee and immigrant women in the u.s. To gain independence through safe and reliable transportation. Participants receive up to 10 hours of paid, expert behind-the-wheel driving instruction, along with comprehensive drivers education. Paired with personalized case management support, this program helps women not only learn to drive confidently, but also obtain their driver's licenses efficiently - unlocking greater freedom, access to opportunities and self-sufficiency.
