Mission
The overall purpose of EthanAlmightys Blessings is to improve the lives of animals. We accomplish this in three ways. First we provide funding for medical and nutritional assistance for pets whose owners who are unable to afford that level of care who would otherwise have to surrender the pet to an animal welfare agency. Our goal is to keep the pet in their home where they are likely to have better outcomes and reduce overcrowding in shelters. Second we sponsor spay neuter clinics both for the public and in local shelters in our area also helping to reduce overcrowded shelters. Third we campaigned for several years and were successful in getting legislation passed in Kentucky that increased the severity of charges from a misdemeanor to a felony for animal cruelty. Since this has been passed our efforts have turned to educating the public but particularly county prosecutors on this legislation and ensuring that appropriate charges are being brought against violators.
