The evansville association for the blind, inc. Is a not-for-profit organization committed to assisting disabled or disadvantaged persons, particularly the visually impaired, empowering them through diverse services to live and work in the community.

Orientation and mobility - evansville association for the blind's o & m (teaching cane travel) services has continued growth, once again serving the blind, visually impaired in illinois, kentucky, & indiana. We serve all age groups in all stages of life - infants, school age, college, working adults, and those who have retired. We provided services to 69 individuals in fiscal 2025.
Low vision - evansville association for the blind offers vision services to all age groups. We served 466 individuals last year performing functional vision exams, pre-school eye screenings, cooking classes, support for independent living, and setting up equipment to enable a person to work, attend school, or continue a hobby.
