Mission

The evansville rescue mission serves the improverished in the tri-state area with food, shelter, clothing, and programming through the residence center, youth care center, camp reveal, and the evansville rescue mission.

Ministry and shelter to the homeless. There are 168 beds utilized by men who have joined one of the mission's programs. All men are provided breakfast, lunch, supper, shower access, clothing, chapel services, case management (with referrals to offsite social service and employment agencies) and chemical dependence monitoring. All three daily meals are open to all men, women, and children who are hungry. The mission has hosted over 100,000 consecutive mealtimes since 1917. Additionally, thousands of food boxes with a 50 value are annually given to needy families during the thanksgiving and christmas holiday seasons.
