2. Drug repurposing research and development (scientific application)(continued on schedule o)every cure, inc. Saves and improves lives by repurposing drugs. Discovery of drug repurposing opportunities occurs using both existing knowledge and ai-generated findings. Drug repurposing efforts encompass the core scientific and medical efforts to move a drug repurposing concept from discovery to clinical application. Advancement of the most promising candidates may include managing pre-clinical studies, real-world evidence review and clinical trials. In 2024, every cure established a world class medical team, a technical advisory council (tac) and a scientific advisory council (sac) to provide oversight and validate discoveries. The team established best practice for vetting repurposing opportunities, leading to the identification of four promising repurposed treatments endorsed by the sac as well as identification of potential therapeutic opportunities for long covid. The candidate drug repurposing opportunities spanned conditions from a common cancer to a rare neurodevelopmental conditions. As a result of these efforts, multiple individuals shared stories of how their lives were saved and improved by repurposed drugs.

3. Education and awareness-raising on drug repurposing(continued on schedule o)every cure, inc. Educates physicians, researchers, patients, policymakers, and the general public about the potential for drug repurposing to accelerate cures. Education and outreach are central to creating a shift in medicine, where existing therapies are fully leveraged for diseases beyond their original approvals.specific accomplishments include: educational programs and workshops: organized scientific convenings such as the chan zuckerberg initiative (czi)-supported workshop on rare disease drug repurposing, which brought together leading experts across academia, industry, and government to share knowledge and define collaborative pathways. Professional outreach: disseminated findings through presentations at international scientific meetings, invited talks at research institutions, and publication of educational content in professional outlets to increase awareness among physicians and scientists. Patient and public engagement: leveraged media exposure, social media campaigns, and direct patient community engagement to increase understanding of drug repurposing opportunities, empowering patients to discuss potential options with their physicians. Roadmap development: advanced the roadmap initiative, a framework for how to systematically identify and validate repurposing opportunities for rare diseases, providing a replicable resource for the field. Digital awareness: reached millions through media features and social media, highlighting the story of drug repurposing and every cure's mission, increasing visibility and engagement with our work.through these activities, every cure has created a foundation of knowledge and awareness that will help to accelerate the pace of drug repurposing across the healthcare ecosystem.
