Champs (communities and hospitals advancing maternity practices) - a w. K. Kellogg funded project to provide training for hospitals in mississippi and to provide technical assistance to physicians and nurses who assist new mothers with breastfeeding. Also develops resources and training on how to implement maternity practices impacting breastfeeding families safely. Emphasis on the project is reducing health disparaities at populations with breastfeeding support.

Ohio department of health contract, (ohioh workplace breast-feeding support initiative) provided training for county stakeholders to improve support for employed breastfeeding women, conduct outreach with employers hiring large numbers of low income and vulnerable populations, develop resources afor employers and employed women of combining breast-feeding and employment. Serve as a resource for businesses and county public health official and stakeholders in improving support for breast-feeding women.
