RADIO PROGRAM: Every Village continued operating five radio stations which cover a total population of over 3 million people. EV also sent out another 7,000 solar radios fixed-tuned to our frequencies bringing our all-time total radios distributed to 172,000. This means that 56% of people within EV's broadcast regions have access to the gospel daily through an Every Village radio. Whenever EV brings radios, they are sold to the South Sudanese for a small price to increase local ownership and involve the South Sudanese church in partnership. Some radios are always held back to be given at no cost to the most vulnerable. From FY24's shipment, the South Sudanese paid over $8,000 to purchase radios. Continued on Schedule O.EV also holds annual listener campaigns asking the South Sudanese to make donations to the ongoing operations of their stations. From the FY24 campaigns, EV radio stations received over 44,000 individual donations for over $13,000. This financial partnership with the South Sudanese church means that 30% of daily radio operations were funded by the local communities.
DISCIPLESHIP PROGRAM: Through the Discipleship Program, EV seeks to invest deeply in pastoral leadership so pastors can build healthy churches. Toward that end, the Tonj Bible Institute continued with four more courses being taught to over 30 pastors as they completed and graduated from the three-year certificate program. EV also hosted three more pastor conferences with 1,488 church leaders in attendance across all denominations. These conferences bring church leaders together in a unique way that is foundational to establishing a vision for reaching the nation for Christ. Continued on Schedule O.EV also continued partnering with the Jesus Film to host showings in local languages alongside community pastors. EV outreach teams held 104 showings of the Jesus Film with 54,310 in attendance, which led to 13,348 individuals making commitments to Christ and connecting to their community pastor for follow-up. Finally, EV formed a new partnership with Awana International to launch weekly Bible clubs for kids. EV held six church leader trainings with 656 in attendance and launched 263 Bible clubs with an average of 80 kids per club.
