Asian Texans for Justice connects Asian and Pacific Islander Texans with civic action to build personal and political power.
Programs

GENERAL PROGRAM: Facilitated 10-week Civic Engagement Fellowship, tailored for Texas Asian American and Pacific Islander Youth (16-25) to develop skills for organizing and becoming community leaders; received a 40% increase in applications from 2023. Managed Asian Texans for Justice Advocates program to offer past Fellowship alumni continued mentorship, education resources, networking opportunities, and community service opportunities.
ADVOCACY: Published a three-part research report on the attitudes and priorities of Asian Texans across the state; launched the first year-long Asian American Studies pilot course at Round Rock High School with 29 students; hosted the Asian American Studies Academy and trained 30 K-12 educators from across Texas.
OTHER: Collaborated through the Asian Americans for Texas Table to coordinate multilingual, statewide voter mobilization efforts that strengthen long-term Asian American and Pacific Islander civic participation; mobilized communities through digital advocacy trainings, public comments, and testimonies during the legislative interim.
