The specific purposes of this corporation are to promote social welfare in the areas of education, equality, environment, energy, and economics by educating the public and public officials regarding community issues and policies, promoting projects that are beneficial to the community, promoting the adoption or rejection of legislation, including measures on the ballot, and generally pursuing programs and activities that involve improvement of the quality of life of average working families in the community.
