The organization was started as a social club for all past and present veterans for social enjoyment for the teaching of patriotism. The organization provides support to the community (through the donation of christmas lights, memorial day festivities, etc.), provides support to the local school district and its youth programs (through donation of a baseball field and support to local sports organizations).
