Exhibit 3000 documents the history of techno and house music in detroit, michigan. Detroit is the birthplace of techno, which is a music that has influenced musical genres worldwide. Exhibit 3000 archives, documents, and preserves the materials, images, and early narratives of the creation of techno in detroit. Exhibit 3000 will share the narrative of detroit techno with local communities, and with the world, in order to educate local and global communities about the crucial role that detroit played in the origination of the genre of techno. Said corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)3 of the internal revenue code, or the corresponding code of any future federal tax code.
