Over a four-day residency, Exit12 Dance Company conducted workshops and performances at The Citadel Military College in South Carolina, working with cadets and military veterans to explore their experiences through dance. The Citadel's conflicted past - built initially as a fort to defend against slave uprisings - continues to divide it from the greater Charleston community. This initiative fostered creative expression, leadership, and storytelling, inspiring the next generation to make a positive impact both in and out of uniform. Through multiple touchpoints, Exit12's work was introduced to over 1,500 cadets at the parade, and 300 cadets, veterans, and civilians participated in open rehearsals, screenings, panel discussions, classroom visits, workshops, and a public performance that welcomed Charleston residents onto campus and gave them a window into cadet life.

Exit12 has enhanced its financial management by engaging an accountant and implementing bookkeeping and accounting software. These improvements have increased the accuracy of financial reporting, ensuring greater transparency and long-term sustainability for the organization.
