They are directly responsible for travel and tourism product awareness to visitors. The sole funding source of this effort is supported by the hotel/motel tax revenue of the community. This takes place year-round through a variety of ways including marketing, public relations, conferences, association involvement, direct sales, trade shows, collateral distribution, event planning, etc.
