Mission

Exposure skate is a california non-profit corporation formed for the purpose of the education and empowerment of women and girls in the areas of health, community service, sports and athletic opportunity through activities, including but not limited to filmmaking and the sport of skateboarding.

Programs

1 program

Our flagship exposure event brought 200 women, trans, and nonbinary skaters from 18 countries together to share in empowerment and to raise money for survivors of domestic violence. The event served 3,000 attendees and featured pro and amateur competitions, a documentary screening, live music, and a presentation about the prevalence of domestic violence in our community. We reached an audience of 27 million through various platforms and media partnerships with red bull and x games.
