In-school programmingduring the school year, nex extends its reach into local schools to engage hundreds of students. Offerings include heart club at thompson middle school, which emphasizes belonging, social-emotional learning, and restorative practices; steam programming at all saints academy; and design, make, and manufacturing classes at the metropolitan regional career and technical center. These initiatives support academic engagement, skill development, and a stronger sense of community among learners.

Out-of-school time programmingbeyond school hours, nex offers a broad slate of afterschool and weekend opportunities. Students participate in activities that mirror summer immersion experiences, including surfing, biking, and other adventure-based learning, as well as creative and technical pursuits such as coding, 2d design, jewelry making, and art. These programs foster skill-building, curiosity, and a sense of belonging, while ensuring consistent access to safe and enriching environments year-round. The organization also received $40,312 in funding from grants in support of this initiative.
