Mission

To create a non-partisan process and forum for the research and study by interested members of issues related to the worker's compensation system in the state of montana. This process includes but is not limited to defining and explaining the status of the current workers compensation system, comparisons with other state systems, roles of regulatory entities involved in the system, recent reforms of the system and their impacts, and examination of further reforms. The ultimate goal is to make recommendations, for specific legislation, to elected leaders in montana aimed at modernizing the montana worker's compensation system insurance marketplace by full privatization of that marketplace. Significant educational efforts may be taken to ensure montana's business community has an understanding of the status of the current worker's compensation system and possible reforms.
