Faith and Work Enterprises, Inc is a non-profit that was formed to serve the Sandtown- Winchester neighborhood of Baltimore City after the unrest related to the death of Freddie Gray and out of a collaborative response by Baltimore area LCMS congregations and individuals. Though several congregations partner with the efforts of Faith and Work, Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Catonsville, provides a unique partnership through the sharing of its pastor, who also serves as Executive Director, and by its plan to purchase a property (1500 Presstman St, 21217) which Faith and Work will lease-to-own as Faith and Work begins Phase II of its mission, which reads: Standing with local neighborhoods to build capacity for meaningful work and holistic wellbeing.
