To promote recreation, education, and training in the safe use of firearms; to foster, expand, and perpetuate the practice of target shooting and spirit of good fellowship among all sportsmen; to cooperate with the national rifle association in all matters concerning firearms; to cooperate with all conservation organizations in the propagation and conservation of game; to maintain an accepted shooting area and conduct shooting tournaments; and for all other purposes consistent with law.
