Families For Families

Adopt a family for the holidays - holiday gifts are collected and distributed through a one to one sponsorship program. Families "adopt" a family in need and purchase gifts for that family. The program culminates with a holiday party where sponsors and recipients can celebrate the holidays together. In 2024,633 individuals from 266 families from 5 different agencies received holiday gifts.

Furnishing great starts - provides families transitioning out of homeless shelters with donated housewares and furniture. We collect furniture and household items from the community and display them in our warehouse so that families can come and choose the items that they are in need of. By having them choose the items themselves, we hope that it gives them a sense of dignity about the process and pride of ownership to help them start the next chapter of their lives on a positive note. In 2024,we moved 156 families into new homes with furniture and household items donated from the community. This was an 88% increase over 2023. We picked up furniture from over 200 donors doubling our outreach from the previous year.
