Family Career & Community Leaders Of America Inc Montana Association

Local outreach projects are one of montana fccla's foundational elements. Each year, our state officers select one area of focus for the state outreach project. For 2024 that was a program called families first. We partnered with kampgrounds of america, zero to five montana, realityworks, and the gianforte family foundation to offer the families first fccla curriculum to chapters, chapter mini-grants for chapters to develop and implement their own local projects, and we offered adviser training in the families first curriculum and project development. Similarly, we partnered with youth service america to offer week of service grants to chapters, and with the montana department of transportation to offer grants and awards for youth-led traffic safety projects. The cumulative efforts of 29 participating chapters reported over 16,600 hours of local volunteer service through these projects as well as additional fccla community outreach.
