Family council seeks to promote, protect, and strengthen home schooling by serving as a statewide home school support organization dedicated to helping anyone interested in home schooling.

Expenses: $125K

We promote, protect, and strengthen traditional family values by providing educational information on public policies and shaping public opinion from a christian worldview. Our ministry is founded on the belief that we should love and care for our neighbors and we are moved by our sincerely held religious beliefs that god has established unchanging moral absolutes and truth. We promote these moral absolutes and truth in the public arena. We educate policymakers and community leaders on how to respect innocent human life, how to follow the first amendment protection of religious liberty, and how to craft marriage policies that align with our judeo-christian faith and heritage. In addition, we inform leaders about the long-term impact of expanding gambling or legalizing illegal drugs. We speak in churches and civic clubs, conduct media interviews, and participate in public forums as a means of educating the public and shaping public opinion. We inform the public about the stabilizing influence of the nuclear family, the economic impact of family breakdown, and how to establish a more stable society.
