8 grants were given to individuals who had a death in the family for assistance with funeral expenses. The goal of this activity is to provide short term funding to help pay for funeral expenses.

10 grants were given to individuals who experienced an illness or injury outside the workplace to help with overdue rent/mortgage or utilities. The goal of this activity is to alleviate financial stress around an already stressful personal situation.
