Alma: millions of pregnant and parenting people are diagnosed with mood disorders, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance misuse or other mental health issues every year - and these issues are much more likely to affect women of color. Perinatal mental health (pmh) conditions are the most common complications of pregnancy and childbirth, affecting 1 in 5 women (800,000 women each year in the united states), and maternal mental health problems are a leading cause of maternal death. Maternal, infant, & early childhood home visiting (miechv) family health initiatives in partnership with new jersey are highlighted here. These organizations are implementing coordinated intake and referral systems to connect families to the most appropriate home visiting services. These projects aim to increase and streamline referrals for both families and providers within the community and allow for a more efficient use of local resources, while also managing and tracking referrals and outcomes. Data dashboards are interactive tools for tracking, analyzing, and displaying performance measures, metrics, and data; they can help monitor progress, processes, and outcomes and offer a comprehensive overview of data to inform decisions and actions.
