The mission of family promise of forsyth county is to empower and assist families experiencing or facing homelessness or housing insecurity to achieve long-term stability through a community-based response. Rotational residential program - our residential program offers families a safe place to stay, meals and other basic needs, without cost, in order to save toward their own place while gaining skills and habits needed for sustainable independence.

Community based services - our prevention, diversion, and stabilization programs are designed to meet families where they are, assessing their needs to prevent the necessity of shelter placement. This support ranges from simple assistance with navigating available resources or applying for benefits to comprehensive case management that creates a plan for achieving sustainable independence. Additionally, we offer ongoing support and resources to program graduates to help them maintain stability. Thanks to our incredible partnerships, we can provide essential items such as clothing, birthday packs, back-to-school clothes, pajamas, and more. These items are distributed on a one-on-one basis, at community or partner events, and during our family resource festivals.
