Rapid Rehousing Program- Family Promise of Hudson County in collaboration with HUMI administers a Rapid-Rehousing Program funded by Hudson County. The Rapid-Rehousing serves families through federal funding from HUDHousing and Urban Development which is distributed through Hudson County. The Rapid-Rehousing component allows those who are newly homeless and about to enter the emergency shelter system to access permanent housing through quick relocation made possible by one-time short-term financial assistance brief case-management and housing relocation. In 2024 this program served over 40 families consisting of 53 children
Shelter Program- Family Promise of Hudson County emergency shelter program has been running of the static site model for some time now. This model allows us to successfully re-house our families into static locations. a static location is a fixed site where a family can stay and volunteers provide hospitality from a distance. These locations enable our families to have the stability needed to get themselves back on their feet. In 2024 this program served 5 families consisting of 14 children.
