The legal advocacy program assists victims of domestic violence in accessing the legal system, obtaining orders of protection, understanding their r ights as victims, advocating for clients in court and with law enforcement, proactive outreach, and other support services to address the violence they had experienced. The program also engaged in proactive outreach to victims who might not otherwise have sought assistance from other than the police. In fy'24 the program served 500 adult clients; fielded 2,584 crisis calls; assisted 252 clients in obtaining orders of protection; assisted 92% of clients in developing service plans and 92% in developing safety plans.

The community outreach program provides individual counseling, support groups, advocacy, case management, and financial literacy services to survivors of domestic violence and their children. In fy'24 the community outreach program served 478 victims of domestic violence: 438 adults and 40 children. They provided their clients with 5,706 hours of support services. Some of its major accomplishments for the year included: 100% of its clients accomplished 2 or more goals on their service plans: 100% of the children served were able to identify two sources of safety and 100% came to understand that the violence in their families was not their fault. Community outreach also made 187 community education presentations to the community.
