To make a positive difference in the lives of children with special needs and disabilties by empowering parents and caregivers.

Department of development services - early start: to provide services, information and training, parent-to-parent support, events and activities to partners of children 0-3 years old with a developmental delay or other risk factor; and to assist families during the transition from part c to part b services at age 3.
Community navigator project: to assist families of children and adults with disabilties through the systems of care (regional center, ihss, etc.) and to decrease access and equity issues.
Other program services:san joaquin teeth: providing services to support the implementation of the san joaquin treatment & education for everyone on teeth and health (sj teeth) program which provides assistance to families of children to improve oral health. A certified enrollment counselor assists in identifying and selecting a dentist and secure dental appointments. Funded by first 5 san joaquin children and families commission. Healing hearts society: financial support for funeral expenses for families of children with special needs.workshops and seminars: hosting workshops and seminars to train parents and professionals using a culturally-sensitive and family-focused approach.to provide devices and internet, to those who are in need, to access day programs, theraphy, medical appointments, and early start services and to provide the parent training necessary to facilitate.
