Provide individual and family support by removing barriers and providing access to resources.
Programs

Counseling program:the counseling program offers a supportive, nurturing and confidential environment for families and individuals to learn how to deal with common problems of every day living. Family service's licensed clinical social workers help clients cope with the emotional confusion and pain associated with strained relationships, the trauma of separation or divorce, the devastating effects of post partum depression, loss of a loved one, parent-child conflicts and other issues. Both individual and group counseling are offered.
Supportive housing for transition age youth:new to the family service continuum is our supportive housing program which provides case management and coordination of financial assistance to transition aged youth (ages 18-23) who were in placement with chester county department of children, youth and families (cyf) or the juvenile probation office (jpo).these youth are referred to the program by chester county's housing action team (hat). Case managers provide intensive housing support services for youth, meeting on at least weekly basis until nearing successful completion of the program.
Fscc provides a variety of other services but additional accomplishments in programming include:444 doorstep food deliveries to chester county food bank100% of families remained in tact from the ecfc program70% of the children that are clients attended summer campthere were 676 in home visits
