Mission
The mission of the family support center is to protect children, strengthen families and prevent abuse.
Programs

Lifestart village: a single-parent, self-sufficiency program for families exiting homelessness, domestic violence, and substance abuse that housed 104 individuals including 64 children. 56% of families discharged to permanent, stable housing.
Mental health therapy: quality therapy services, targeting individuals who are uninsured or low-to moderate-income. 121 individuals served through 295 therapy sessions.
Adoption respite: in-home respite care provided by a trauma-informed specialist for parents who have adopted children in the salt lake county area. Accomplished 187 in-home respite visits for 28 families, caring for 73 children totaling 1,165 hours of care.
