Commodity meetings:lincoln county farm bureau encourages volunteer members to attend leadership, commodity, conventions and legislative conferences that help educate and promote the organization's mission. At these meeting volunteers discuss issues that have an impact on the agricultural industry.

In order to protect and promote the agriculture industry the lincoln county farm bureau through its structure of volunteer leaders support public policy efforts at the local state and national level. This is accomplished through both legislative and regulatory monitoring communications with members and public awareness programs about farming. Volunteer members participate in the sponsorship of policy meetings with their legislators to educate them about agriculture issues and concerns.
