Programs

Young farmer program:the young farmers & ranchers program is designed to develop young people into the leaders that will someday guide farm bureau. The program strives to educate young farmers, ages 18-35, about the purpose and function of farm bureau, provide them with opportunities to participate in the program structure of farm bureau, and encourage them to use their own knowledge to help formulate policies and programs that can lead to solutions to their problems. In december rankin county board member brian rhodes won the achievement award contest.
Commodity meetings:rankin county farm bureau encourages volunteer members to attend leadership, commodity, conventions and conferences that help educate and promote the organizations mission. At these meeting volunteers discuss issues that have an impact on the agricultural industry
