Mission
Father Matters is dedicated to fostering growth and resilience in socially and economically underserved communities. We provide a broad range of support services, including employment and training programs, family reunification services such as parenting classes, support groups, and supervised visitation. Through personalized case management and community navigation, we connect individuals and families to vital resources-such as a food pantry, resource room, bus passes, work shoe vouchers, and community-based resource fairs-empowering them to achieve stability and long-term success.

Our second key accomplishment in 2024 was the impact of our Resource Room and Quarterly Resource Fairs. Through these efforts, we provided essential support to individuals and families by distributing food items, hygiene kits, clothing, shoes, household goods, school supplies, and other donated resources. The Resource Room serves as a vital hub for meeting basic needs, while our quarterly fairs offer direct access to community partners and services, helping to reduce barriers and promote stability for those we serve.
Our third major accomplishment in 2024 was the continued growth of our Community Outreach Program. Through this initiative, we provided vital information about SNAP eligibility, housing referrals, and reentry support services aligned with the Justice Reinvestment Act. By hosting and participating in resource fairs, we expanded access to Father Matters programs while connecting community members to a wide network of supportive resources and partner organizations.
