Programs

Fayette County Animal Rescue (FCAR) is a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter serving Fayette County, Tennessee. Our primary focus is helping animals in extreme cases of abuse, neglect, injury, or abandonment. We offer refuge, medical care, and a second chance at life with a responsible family. FCAR also educates the public about the responsibilities of pet ownership such as spay/neuter, annual vaccinations, and regular flea and heartworm prevention. Our shelter houses anywhere from 70 to 100 animals. We have managed to arrange fosters for the younger animals as it helps to socialize them so they can be adopted. All donations are used to pay overhead, maintenance, and veterinary expenses.
