The commission's primary purpose is the treatment and prevention of drug and alcohol abuse.
Programs

Prevention services - prevention programs were presented to 297,455 participants throughout the community incurring 6,285 hours of direct service. Also, functioned as a clearinghouse for information on alcohol & other drugs. These services are provided free of charge for the community.
Case management - during initial contact, 981 individuals were assessed to determine treatment needs with 191 being referred into inpatient facilities. These clients were aided in recovery throughout their recovery. The case management program is provided free of charge to those in need.
Dui intervention unit - a total of 496 dui offenders were enrolled in our alcohol highway safety education program.
