Agriculture leadership activities the fayette county farm bureau structure of organizational leadership provides many opportunities for member leaders to keep abreast of issues that affect agriculture. Local board members attend organizational & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local agricultural, civic, & community organizations. Leaders attend district, state & national conferences to network with farmers & other agriculturalists to learn about current issues facing agriculture. A highly developed committee structure provides leadership opportunities for members through meetings, regular communications, and agricultural activities.

The fayette county farm bureau supports youth students in the county by sponsoring scholarships for students going into agricultural related fields. Fayette county farm bureau also sponsors a county wide farm day where elementary school children get to see how their food and fiber are grown and the importance of agriculture in their everyday lives.
