To further the advancement of all pure-bred dog breeds, to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of pure-bred dogs, to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obediance trials, and to conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows, agility trials, obedience trials, and any other american kennel club sanctioned or licensed event under the rules of the american kennel club.
