Programs

Conservation policy and accountability:protecting clean air, clean water, public lands, and democracy are mcv's top priorities. Mcv holds elected leaders accountable to protecting montana's iconic landscapes and outdoor way of life by rallying support for policies that invest in and protect conservation of our public lands, wildlife, air and water. We call out leaders who do not follow through on their conservation commitments and celebrate those who champion our issues. Mcv also recognizes that protecting every montanans' right to vote is critical to maintaining our way of life and holds accountable those that attack that right. Similarly, we call out officials that attempt to attack our state constitution and its important protections for our outdoor way of life.
Outreach and community organization:mcv leverages its statewide membership to take action at critical moments for conservation and democracy such as during elections, throughout the legislative session, and other important decision points for state or federal officials. We reach our membership through in-person events as well as print, phone, and digital platforms. Our outreach takes place statewide.
