Unrestricted donation from Mayor's Christmas Tree Program. One in 7 children in the Northland of Kansas City go home hungry everyday. In partnership with Harvesters - The Community Food Network, the organization provides these kids with backpacks full of food that keeps them going. It's food that keeps them growing strong. The goal is that no child in the Northland goes hungry.

Feed Northland Kids exists to work toward solving hunger among the children of Clay and Platte counties in Missouri. These funds will provide packets of shelf-stable, high-protein, kid-friendly food for 40 newly identified high-risk students in the Liberty Hospital service area for the 2018-19 school year. Students participating in the program are reported to have significant improvements in grades, behavior, and overall health.
