FEED Seven Generations is dedicated to revitalizing the health and wellness of Tribal communities by amplifying Native voices reconnecting ancestral food and health practices and advancing sustainable land and water stewardship. Through education advocacy and direct support we strengthen Indigenous food systems expand access to traditional and culturally relevant foods and foster economic opportunity for Native producers. Our initiatives including the Native Grown & Gathered Program and the Native Plants & Foods Institute connect Native producers to markets resources and networks; provide technical assistance and training; and cultivate intergenerational learning that sustains cultural resilience food sovereignty and environmental stewardship for the next seven generations and beyond.

The Native Plants & Foods Institute is a hub for education research and intergenerational knowledge-sharing about traditional plants foods and medicines. The Institute offers culturally grounded classes demonstrations and hands-on learning opportunities that promote health environmental stewardship and sustainable food practices. In 2024 the Institute engaged Tribal communities in preserving and revitalizing plant-based cultural knowledge to strengthen food sovereignty and support climate-resilient Indigenous-led agriculture.
