Feeding Indiana's Hungry provides assistance to member food banks through coordination of information, best practices, training, and funding sourced for food purchase and Food is Medicine initiatives.

Feeding Indiana's Hungry provides SNAP outreach activities and public education through training available to local food bank agencies, resources created, and information disseminated to policy makers and the public about the program. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program aids in low-income individuals purchasing food to provide for their families.

Hoosier Hogs to Homes, formerly named Million Meals, is a partnership with the Indiana Pork Producers supported 100% by contributions. Indiana Pork markets the program to its members and allied industries. Feeding Indiana's Hungry accepts and processes financial donations, purchases pork for processing, and arranges transportation to food banks. The pounds distributed are based on a formula that considers unemployment and poverty on a county by county basis. This program income and expenses are held in a separate account and are usually spent down annually.
