Feeding Pennsylvania

Nutrition education: feeding pennsylvania created a healthy pantry initiative in partnership with the pennsylvania department of health. Feeding pa's registered dietician is responsible for the program's curriculum and works in partnership with food pantries to increase inventory of health foods, make environmental changes to encourage healthy consumption, and provide nutrition information,tips, and recipes to neighbors.

Advocacy: feeding pennsylvania is a collective voice for hunger-relief initiatives across the state. We advocate for federal and state policies and programs that improve neighbors' access to food in pennsylvania. Feeding pennsylvania strives to raise awareness of the impact of hunger and food insecurity in pennsylvania and the charitable food system's role in its response.
