Mission
The mission of hope house is to provide housing solutions, support and education to individuals and families facing homelessness in our community.
Programs
3 programs
The hope house transitional shelter program provides a homeless shelter for women and children. Families are provided food, shelter, case management, and job search assistance to help prepare for independent living. Approximately 55 women and children are assisted annually.
The hope house able housing program provides case managed permanent supportive housing assistance for disabled individuals that are homeless. The program provides rental and utility assistance along with case management services to help with weekly living needs.
The hope house housing office provides free assistance to approximately 5,500 low income individuals and families, landlords, or management companies to prevent eviction or foreclosure by providing meditation, conflict resolution, and community referrals. Hope house does not provide cash assistance to obtain and maintain safe, decent, affordable housing either by renting or purchasing housing.
