Convention, expos, and conferences - provide information and awareness of fcsn to those who may need the resources and information but were not aware of fcsn.

Awareness and outreach - provide fire department members and their families with comfort, strength, and hope through their own experiences in dealing with the devastating effects of cancer, as well as awareness that cancer does not have to be dealt with alone. Education, training, and meetings - provide education to fire department members regarding the importance of cancer screening and early detection.
