The Night Sky Fund provided direct financial stipends to 19 Fellows in 2024 to support their participation in transformational educational experiences. Each Fellow was eligible to receive up to $10,000 USD in stipend funding specifically for travel, lodging, and meals required to complete their fellowship requirements, including immersive experiences in unfamiliar environments and communities. The stipend program removed financial barriers that would otherwise prevent qualified young adults from participating in this gap year educational program focused on learning to trust their intuition, kindle their courage, and cultivate their compassion. This direct funding advances the organization's educational exempt purpose by making life-changing learning opportunities accessible regardless of economic background.
A team of 5 professional coaches provided individualized mentorship and coaching services to Fellows throughout 2024, delivering personalized educational support focused on inner development and personal growth. The coaching program provided regular one-on-one sessions designed to help Fellows navigate their educational journey and develop self-awareness as they learn to trust their intuition, kindle their courage, and cultivate their compassion. Each Fellow received ongoing coaching sessions as a core component of their educational experience, with coaches supporting participants in processing their immersive learning experiences and developing critical life skills for their transition into adulthood. This individualized educational approach advances the organization's exempt purpose by providing the personalized guidance and accountability necessary for Fellows to successfully complete their transformational learning journey.
