Fafcc represents and supports florida's free and charitable clinics and networks through public policy advocacy, funding and resource development, knowledge exchange, data collection and reserch, and marketing. In 2014, for the first time in florida's history, state lawmakers allocated 4.5 million to the free and chartiable clinics across florida that provide primary and specialty care services to uninsured and low-income, underserved residents. Fafcc administers this state grant and other grants made in subsequent years. In 2024, fafcc made grants to approximately 100 clinics in florida.
