The florida teacher of the year program honors and recognizes exceptional public school educators across the state. The program aims to celebrate outstanding teaching, foster professional growth, and elevate the teaching profession. Selected educators participate in a year-long series of professional development activities through the florida teacher lead network, engage in collaborative events such as the teacher of the year roundtable, and become part of an alumni network to continue enhancing their leadership skills.
