Okeechobee County Farm Bureau provides educational opportunities for students to learn about the importance of agriculture in our community. We provide high school seniors who major in an agriculture related program with scholarships.
Farm City Week is a celebrated the week before Thanksgiving. During the various events throughout the week the partnership between farmers and their communities is spotlighted. Fresh from Florida and locally grown foods are a major focus of the events where consumers get to interact with farmers in their communities.
