Leon County works to preserve and promote agriculture and to protect the American Family farming way of life.

Leon County Farm Bureau actively participates in events with bring agriculture education to the youth in our community. We participated in Ag Literacy Day. This programs aims to educate students where there food comes from especially our urban population.

Leon County Farm Bureau participated in Farm City Week. This is a time to bridge the gap between those living on farms and ranches and those living in urban areas. Many activities highlight the interdependency between rural and urban citizens and the important contributions made by agriculture to our every day lives.
