Food Check Out Week has become a time of year when agriculturalists reach out to consumers to help them learn about today's agriculture. Focus is made on healthy living and buying locally grown. This activity allows us to reach out to the community and work towards the betterment of those engaged in agriculture.

Mini grants were awarded to several teachers who incorporated agricultural related lesson to their curriculum. These grants have assisted local schools bring awareness of the impact agriculture has on our daily lives.
